World Airline Ski Championships - Niseko Japan 2012

Kon'nichi wa and welcome to the 2012 International Airline Ski Week! Kelli McDonald( formerly known as Summers)  and I will be your event organizers. This year we are going to Niseko Japan. For those of you that have been to NAASF events this is a similar ski week only it is in another country, for those of you who have only been to No-Brainers this is a WAY more organized event. It is a week long Sunday to Friday with daily events such as ski, snowboarding, cross country skiing, sight seeing, tours, parties, hot tubbing with the local monkeys, oh and did we mention the parties? Ski club members ( new and old), family members, friends of, guests  are all welcome!!!!!

We will all be staying at the Hilton Niseko Resort hotel, yes that is everyone in one hotel! AND the gondola picks you up in the lobby! Please check out the attachments - that will answer ALL your questions. As per usual with the international events all monies are done in the local currency - the Japanese Yen for this event - and collected at the current exchange rate - about 76 Yen per US dollar. Below will be a brief summary of the event, but remember to check out the attachments for all the details. http://www.wasc-japan2012.com/2012wascbrochure_web.pdf

The official event runs Sunday, March 4th to Friday morning March 9thhttp://www.wasc-japan2012.com/schedule.pdf  There are a few main events that you won't want to miss. The first, on Sunday night, there is a welcoming parade of airlines in which we dress up in all our Southwest gear: jackets, airplane hats and any other SWA paraphernalia followed by a welcome party. Wednesday night is the theme party. This year the theme is "Turning Japanese." It is a costume party. Thursday night is a formal awards banquet, so don't forget your formal attire.

Like all international events we are responsible for paying the lodging and registration up front. Lift tickets and transportation/airport transfers etc will be your own responsibility.
Lodging for 5 nights (Sun-Thur nights breakfast is included) is 50,000Y per/person double occupancy for the week. This is for the basic room. Single room is 70,000 Y. If we book before Dec 31st we get a 10% discount on the ROOMS ONLY. Registration is 20,000Y. Kelli and I are also responsible for paying this. We take checks, cash and we have a paypal account set up.
