Hi Everyone,

Following is information about the February ski week at Snowbird from the
NAASF Coordinators Earl Okuda and Steve Amoia.  The full brochure is
attached.  All of this information is also posted at www.NAASF.com.  As
mentioned in my previous email, our room block will be released on *Thursday,
January 5th*.  Full refunds are available up until 10 days before arrival,
so even if you're not sure whether you'll be able to attend, it's a good
idea to go ahead and make a reservation.

Snowbird will maintain the above room block without a group lodging deposit until 30 days prior to arrival. At 30 days prior to arrival, NAASF will have the option to

guarantee as many rooms on block, not held with specific reservations, by paying a one night's lodging deposit per room. After room block cut-off, January 5th, 2012, additionally requested lodging rooms will be on a space available basis at the NAASF group rates quoted herein. A 3-night minimum stay is required to receive the above rates or the rates will be $159.00/room/night and $299.00/condo/night. Stayovers and early arrivals will be charged at the rate of $169 (bedroom or studio), for any Friday or Saturday nights stayed. Snowbird encourages participants to make reservations as early as possible as the availability of space cannot be guaranteed after January 5th, 2012 without a deposit.

All rates are exclusive of the current 11.6% state room tax and $5.00/room/night resort fee. Snowbird will apply the current Utah State Room Tax and resort fees in effect at the time of the ski week.

NAASF participants fully registering for the ski week will be entitled to all scheduled events: Welcome Reception, Mountain Barbecue, Theme Party, Awards Banquet and Racing.

Registration

Registration fee is $75.00 per person.

Lift Tickets

Snowbird's daily adult lift ticket rates are $74.00 for "Tram & Chairs" tickets and $66.00 for "Chairlifts Only" tickets for the 2010/11 season.

Snowbird shall provide "Tram & Chairs" lift tickets to NAASF participants at $45.00/day for 1-day to 4-day tickets.

5-day “Tram & Chairs” tickets will be $42.00/day.

Partially used multi-day tickets are non-refundable.

Only fully-registered participants will be allowed to purchase discounted lift tickets. Lift tickets must be purchased at registration: No discount tickets will be sold to NAASF participants at the regular ticket windows. Porterage will be charged for all ski groups arriving and departing by motor coach. To facilitate the arrival and departure, a $6.00 ($3.00 in $3.00 out) fee will be charged per person. Porterage does not apply to individual transfers or van service.

CONTRACT DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY

INITIAL DEPOSIT: A one night's lodging deposit for individual call-in reservations is required at time of booking.

FULL PAYMENT: Full payment is due upon departure.

CANCELLATION POLICY: One night's lodging deposit is forfeited on any reservation canceled inside of 10 days prior to arrival. After arrival (check-in) guest will be responsible for the entire length of stay booked. Early departures will be deemed a cancellation after arrival, subject to full payment for the entire length of stay booked.

TRIP INSURANCE: As a benefit to our guests, Snowbird offers trip insurance for cancellations or interruptions. The insurance may be purchased through Central Reservations

(1-800-453-3000). It pays for penalties assessed due to unforeseen circumstances or death, injury or illness to you, a family member or your traveling companion. Trip insurance must be purchased at time of booking.
